Jerry Silver has worked with individuals, entrepreneurs, owner managed businesses and professionals in the Toronto area for over 20 years. He provides business and financial advice, assistance and support as well as all types of income tax, accounting and audit services to his clients.
He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and his Masters of Business Administration from York University.
Outside of the office, Jerry is committed to his family and community. He is Past President of Darchei Noam Synagogue and has volunteered as a Board Member for a number of local social service agencies including the University Settlement House and the Canadian Mothercraft Society. Jerry has also worked with the homeless, volunteering through Darchei Noam/St. Peters Out of the Cold programme.
He lives in Toronto with his wife Linda who has retired as manager of a community children’s mental health project. His daughter Katherine is also a Chartered Accountant and works for Deloitte and Touche.
Anita Goren’s accounting experience predates Ernst & Young – she received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1978 when the firm was Clarkson Gordon. She has been working with individuals and all sizes and types of businesses in the Toronto area since then. In addition to providing clients with a full range of auditing, accounting and tax services, Anita also offers effective business and financial advice.
She received her Honors B.A. and Masters in Business Administration from York University.
Outside of the office, Anita maintains a strong connection to her community. For years she worked as Chair of family and youth organizations for the United Way. Board affiliations include Huntley Youth Services Big Sisters, the Board of Jewish Education and Bialik Hebrew Day School where she ultimately served as President.
Anita lives in Toronto with her husband Jack, (also a Chartered Accountant). Her older daughter Deborah has completed her doctorate in Vision Science and her younger daughter Melanie is on the way to becoming a lawyer.
